“Red head retention,” replied the Lab Rat, “it’s due to the color and the fineness of that foam. See we took a nice Pilsner base malt and layered some red caramel malts on top with just a hint of what’s called Carafa2. That gives it that nice red color and that malty flavor with just a touch of roast to it. After it finished creating all the alcohol we let it cold sit for a few weeks so it gets that nice shine.
