カナダ・ブリティッシュコロンビア州での禁酒法時代が明けた1921年から100周年を祝って限定醸造されたピルスナー。禁酒法前のレシピ(※)を再現するため、フレークコーンやライスなど、当時一般的に使われていた材料を使用した。

The Prohibition Act of 1917 put an end to alcohol consumption in British Columbia for 4 years, and quite frankly was a real big downer. Thanks to the efforts of the newly formed BCLS,in 1921 the act was repealed and BC was declared a “wet” province once again. This Pre-Prohibition Pilsner is brewed to style using ingredients commonly used during that time period including flaked corn and rice. ※ドイツ移民の醸造家によりアメリカで醸造されていたピルスナーのバリエーション。現地のホップとモルトに合わせたレシピとなっており、タンパク質のレベルを下げる為にコーンや米を配合する。禁酒法後に消滅したが、現在はHistorical Beer (歴史的ビール) の一つとして醸造されている。
