カスケードとシムコーでドライホップされたミディアムボディのアメリカンアンバーエール。キャラメルとトフィーのほのかな香りに、ホップ由来の爽やかなグレープフルーツ、ダークベリー、パインの香りが絶妙に調和。程よくドライですっきりとしたフィニッシュ。

A wise King once told us we should make a hoppy red ale. Now, we don’t normally field outside requests, but this is a hoppy amber ale we’re talking about here. It’s a style you just don’t see often enough. Turns out this copper-toned beer was a golden idea and we can’t wait to share it with you this week!

King of the North, Hoppy Red Ale, 6.5% abv. A hoppy American-style amber ale brewed with NY Chinook and dry-hopped with Cascade & Simcoe. Medium body with light notes of caramel & toffee balanced with hop-derived notes of zesty grapefruit, dark berry and pine. Finishes moderately dry & clean. We’re crowning this request a winner.

モルトの旨味と爽快なホップフレーバーが絶妙なバランスで楽しめるホッピーなアンバーエール。ホップにはニューヨーク産のChinookを使用して醸造し、CascadeとSimcoeを用いてドライホッピングを施した。キャラメルやトフィーを想わせるふくよかな風味、グレープフルーツの皮を想起させる爽快なフレーバーにベリーの様なジューシーさに加えて松を想わせる青々としたキャラクターが感じられる。スムースなマウスフィールと共にモルトの豊かな甘味とホップのフルーティな味わい、そしてすっきりととした苦みと共にドライに締めくくられる。
