ワイン樽で最長2年間熟成させたペール・サワーエールをベースに、地元の農家「Quinta Feijoas(キンタ・フェイジョア)」でオーガニック栽培された新鮮なフェイジョアを加えてさらに1年間熟成。フェイジョアのトロピカル感とワイン樽由来のキャラクターが調和した、エレガントな味わいのサワーエール。

We have brewed this Wild Feijoa beer for 11 years winning numerous awards along the way, including the champion beer at the 2023 Brewers Guild of New Zealand awards.

A pale sour beer, aged for up to 2 years in wine barrels and then another year on fresh, local and organic feijoas from Helen and Peter at Quinta Feijoas who have supplied the fruit for the last 8 years.

We barrel aged our first beer in 2010. Since then we have proudly built a substantial barrel ageing programme. Here we produce many different sour beers, some traditional, some not.

11年間に渡り醸造を続けてきた定番商品であり、ニュージーランドのオーガニック農家「Quinta Feijoas(キンタ フェイジョア)」の有機フェイジョア※を投入したワイン樽熟成のサワーエール。淡い酸味のビールをワイン樽で最長2年間熟成させた後、フェイジョアを投入し、更に1年間熟成。複雑味を感じる柔らかな酸味とじんわりと染み入る果実の様な穏やかな苦味の余韻。
※フェイジョアとはニュージーランドや南米で生産されている、見た目はライムの様な、香りはパイナップルやバナナに似た果実。
