Crisp, snappy, and bone-dry, Shubako is our take on a Japanese-style rice lager. Modeled after the iconic super-dry macro lagers of Tokyo, it delivers a light floral aroma and a clean, effervescent finish with crystalline clarity.

Named after a special basement izakaya we visited in Japan, this beer is a tribute to the people and atmosphere of the Tokyo underground. Though we shared little common language with the locals, the welcome we felt was universal. We used a traditional rice-heavy recipe to recreate the refreshing, sharp profile we fell in love with while exploring the city. A crisp, clean lager meant for sharing memories.

日本某大手ビール会社の看板商品でスーパーにドライな「あのビール」にインスパイアされた、キレ味抜群のジャパニーズ スタイル ライスラガー。澄み切った透明感と爽快なカーボネーション、そして軽やかでフローラルアロマ。喉越しはもちろんドライ！ビール名は、トラップドア醸造長のJake氏が日本滞在中に訪れたノーストーキョーの居酒屋にちなんで名付けられました。言葉はほとんど通じなくても、温かく迎え入れてくれた東京のアンダーグラウンドな雰囲気と人々へ贈るオマージュです。
